The following affiliate organizations have entered into or
are preparing a licensing agreement with the Michigan Association for
Infant Mental Health (MI-AIMH) to use the MI-AIMH Competency Guidelines
(Alaska) and the MI-AIMH Endorsement (all of the others) to develop and
recognize competency-focused, relationship based practice promoting
infant mental health. All are affiliates of the World Association for
Infant Mental Health OR are working towards becoming an affiliate.

Connecticut Association for Infant Mental Health
Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health
Idaho Association for Infant Mental Health

Minnesota Association for Infant & Early Childhood Mental
Health
New Mexico Association for Infant Mental Health
Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health
Rhode Island Association for Infant Mental Health

Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health
Virginia Association for Infant Mental Health
In addition, one large children's services agency in
Florida has purchased a License to Use the Competency Guidelines only.
The League leaders participate in a monthly conference
call for the purpose of discussing challenges in promoting the
competencies as standards for infant and toddler professionals in their
states, in creating interest in endorsement among stakeholders, in
building capacity to provide reflective supervision and consultation
across service systems, to plan for annual retreats, and to strengthen
relationships across participating states on behalf of quality work
force development.
MI-AIMH Coordinates the League calls and activities,
expanding the reach of the principles and philosophy of the
organization.
The League is one remarkable outcome that has led to
continuing growth and interest across the country and around the world
in the MI-AIMH Competencies and Culturally Sensitive,
Relationship-Focused Endorsement Promoting Infant Mental Health.
