Ask the Expert

“Ask the Expert” is an opportunity for you to submit questions you may have regarding social and emotional development and your work related to infants and young children (ages 0 - 5) and their families. Questions may be related to policy, research, practice or resources. We will choose questions to feature in each issue, and they will be archived on our Web site for your future reference. Questions may be edited for space and clarity, and names will be used only with permission. E-mail your questions to jhack@wiaimh.org.

Questions:

How can the system meet the needs of young children in foster care while working within the parameters of the law?

Can you spoil babies by responding when they wake at night?
